In a special event in honour of the 150th anniversary of Rachmaninov’s birth, virtuoso organist Simon Nieminksi performs his own, remarkable transcription of Rachmaninov’s complete Second Symphony.
Exploring the full orchestral range of our magnificent cathedral organ, Simon Nieminski expertly brings to life Rachmaninov’s famous and ravishing melodies in what promises to be a unique and extraordinary concert.
As at all our organ concerts, a large screen is erected so as to be able to easily enjoy watching the skill and art of the organist.
