Complete Symphonies of Louis Vierne

Louis Vièrne, the blind organist of Notre Dame de Paris, wrote Six extraordinary Organ Symphonies.

Renowned as masterworks of invention, colour, and viruosity, this is a rare opportunity to hear all six grand works, on the spectacular organ of St Peter’s Cathedral. A veritable mini-festival of organ music for this year’s Patronal Festival Organ Recital!

We welcome back to St Peter’s APRA award winning organist Dr Joseph Nolan, hailed as ‘indisputably one of the world’s greatest organists’ by Limelight Magazine. Adelaide audience’s may remember Joseph’s 2021 performance of Widor and Reubke at St Peter’s, as one of the most exciting organ recitals in recent times; or his 2023 performance of the Poulenc Organ Concerto with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, broadcast on ABC Classic FM.
