Christmas at St Peter’s 2024

It is the beginning of the Christmas season. This may be the busiest time of the year for many; but it is also an opportunity for reflection, sharing, community, celebration - and inspiring music.

The St Peter's Cathedral Choir & Consort, supported by the Cathedral Music Foundation, are a central part of the cathedral's Advent and Christmas offerings.

Our choral journey begins this Sunday at our 6pm Advent Carols Service, with music that helps us prepare for the coming of Christmas.

Our special concert of Handel & Charpentier with Adelaide Baroque Orchestra & St Peter's Cathedral Consort is not to be missed - if you loved last year's Messiah, you will love this music even more!

Then a fixture on the calendar: our traditional service of Nine Lessons & Carols on Christmas Eve, with organ and brass.
